I saw:servers in black and yellow football jerseys, televisions of all different sizes hung on the wall, framed college football jerseys, Rowan's #33 football jersey, a menu of so many choices, a window that looked like there were batting cages on the other side, 30 different taps of beer lined up behind the bar, napkins that said "It's gut check time-if yours isn't full order more" (shown above in the right picture)
I felt: hungry, the uncomfortable stool I was sitting on, a smooth glass mug handle, a cool breeze from an air vent, excited to be in a new environment, anxious to taste the food for the first time, overwhelmed at all the televisions - I didn't know where to look, full after finishing 8 boneless wings
I smelled: ranch and blue cheese sauce, the aroma of the differently flavored wings that were ordered at the table
I tasted: BBQ sauce on the boneless wings I ordered, a spicy traditional wing, refreshing cold water as it slid down my throat, ketchup on salty fries
The atmosphere was definitely full of energy. I could only imagine a packed restaurant sitting around the high tops, drinking beer, and cheering on their favorite sports teams. It probably gets loud and crazy. If anything it made me excited for this Sunday's Superbowl game. This unfamiliar place wasn't exactly "strange," but it was somewhere I have never been before.
